[Position Overview]
Blizzard Entertainment is seeking an External Affairs Manager to manage every issue related to national governments and the relations with them in Korea. The ideal candidate must be able to bridge communications with government offices, analyze issues and present strategies to a growing business in a political and dynamic environment. Key issues include regulations, game ratings, youth protection, data protection, esports, strengthening Blizzard Entertainment’s image and reputation. The ideal candidate is also a highly organized person with the ability to promote cooperation and facilitate problem resolution in a timely, creative and professional manner and to work independently while contributing to the goals of a team.

[Role & Responsibility]
- Communicate Blizzard Entertainment’s positions to key constituencies including government officeholders, game experts, and opinion leaders
- Work with relevant associations and other allies to promote and build support for Blizzard Entertainment’s positions
- Effectively manage game ratings and supervising patch reports to game rating authorities
- Analyze new and emerging policy issues, regulations, game ratings, youth protection, privacy/data protection and intellectual property rights that may affect Blizzard Entertainment’s businesses in Korea and beyond, in coordination with internal experts at Blizzard Entertainment headquarters
- Assist with and manage other duties and special projects as requested by the director of Legal affairs
